How to Trace What Happened
To help you see where the funds went, our tool needs a starting point. This is usually the scammer's wallet address or the Bitcoin transaction ID (a long string of characters) from your exchange. When you paste that in, our tool will generate a simple, visual map to help you understand the path the funds took.
Creating a Report for Law Enforcement
Our tool will organize this trace map and all the transaction details into a clean, easy-to-understand PDF report. It is written in plain English, so you can give it to your local police. This provides them with the clear, actionable evidence they may need to open a case and take your report seriously.
Our Promise: 100% Free and Honest
We need to be very clear: We will never ask you for money. We do not promise to recover your funds. This is a non-profit, open-source tool. Our only goal is to provide a safe resource to help you.
Guides to Protect Yourself
We are also compiling simple guides on how to stop all contact with the scammer, secure your accounts from further harm, and safely report the scammer. Taking these actions can be an important step in regaining a sense of control.
